SOUNDING THE ALARM!
Ezekiel chapter 33 verse three says when the watchmen sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people. That's what I'm about to do for you today, sound the alarm. First I will give you the good news.
I want to introduce you to my very best friend. Once you hear about Him you will want to know more about Him. My friend is one who sticks closer than a brother [Proverbs 18: 14]. When everyone else leaves, He'll still be there for me, because He promised to never leave me or forsake me [Hebrews 13:5]. When trouble comes my way He is always there to help [Psalm 46:1]. I don't want for anything, for He supplies my every need[Psalm23:1]. The best thing about my friend is that He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever[Hebrew13:8]. Do you have a friend like this?
My friend's name is Jesus Christ, the only Son of the Living God. He was born of a virgin about 2000 years ago. While He walked this earth He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, made the lame to walk, raised the dead, comforted, counsel and taught God's way to the people. What He did back then, He is still doing today. The Bible tells us all about Jesus and how we can be his followers, and live a life of righteousness. John 3:16 says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever believes on Him will not perish [eternal life in hell with Satan after death], but have eternal life [living eternally in heaven with God after death].
I have told you about my friend and your friend if you choose Him. Now let me tell you about the enemy of us all, the one I have come to warn you about. His name is Satan, also known as the devil, the evil one, Lucifer or the beast. Beware of him. He isn't that little cartoon character wearing a red suit and holding a pitchfork, sitting on your shoulder. He is crafty, very dangerous and deadly. He walks around like a roaring lion looking for some victim to devour [1 Peter 5:8]. His main purpose is to kill, steal and destroy whom ever comes across his path [John 10: 10]. He is a liar. As a matter of fact he is the father of lies and a murderer. He hates the truth [John 8:44]. Someday he will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone forever, to be tormented day and night. He knows his fate and wants to take as many souls with him as possible. This does not have to be your fate.
To be saved from Satan and his lies and traps you must be born again. Become a new person by trusting and believing in Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. Romans 10:9-10 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved from the pits of hell eternally. We all need Jesus because we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory [Romans 3:23].
Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins by willingly laying down his life for the whole world, wanting none to be lost. He suffered and died so that we would be cleansed of all our sins if we just believe on him. Salvation is a free gift, yours for the asking. If you don't know my friend Jesus Christ as your personal savior, you can right now. Try him, you will not be disappointed.
You can pray the sinner's prayer right now, which is: Lord, I confess that I am a sinner who desperately wants to be saved. I do believe that Jesus lived, died and rose from the dead for me. And that he sits on the right hand of God the father in heaven, with all power in His hands. Please come live in my heart and save me from the pits of hell.
Now thank Jesus for your saved soul in Jesus name Amen!!!!!
TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION...DON'T WAIT...TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO YOU!
